ZaCSA’s Heart of the Community Award:

Domenika Leinbach

ZaCSA is honored to have Domenika Leinbach as a Heart of the Community recipient for January. Domenika has provided support for East Meets West by being Lead Purchaser.  Her knowledge and research of Japanese culture and artifacts have been a valuable asset in the continued success of East Meets West.  Besides being the Purchaser for ZaCSA’s EMW, Domenika has stepped up to perform many other important roles within ZaCSA.  Other organizations that Domenika volunteers for include the Latino club, Manager of the Killer Katanas roller derby team, Boy Scouts, and fundraising for the PTO of Zama Shogakko.  She also organized cultural friendship groups for a local high risk orphanage two years running.  Domenika also gives free English lessons to local Japanese people.
